What it does

It quietly finds people you haven't spoken to in a while — a balanced mix of recent and long‑lost — and writes each one a short, warm message picking up a real thread.

Every contact gets a living profile: who they are, their language, the way you write to them, your shared history, and a little note so you always know who's who.
💬 Invite personally
Pick a group, say what you want — "invite everyone to Sunday" — and it drafts an individual 1:1 for each member. Not a broadcast. It even reaches friends whose number WhatsApp hides, through your existing chat with them.
How it works
Link WhatsApp — scan a QR once, the same way as WhatsApp Web. Your messages stay on your computer; there's no server.
It learns your voice — from your own past messages, so drafts sound like you (your greetings, your length, your emoji) and in each person's language.
You review — read each draft, edit anything, approve the good ones, skip the rest. You're always in control.
It sends, gently — approved messages go out one at a time with natural pauses, a daily limit, and an extra‑strict limit on brand‑new contacts. No spam, no blasting.

Bring your old chats
WhaGrOU sounds like you because it reads how you've actually written to each person — so richer history means better drafts.
Everything at once. Import your full WhatsApp backup: paste your 64‑digit encrypted‑backup key, pick your msgstore.db.crypt15, and WhaGrOU brings in every 1:1 contact and their whole message history in one go — all decrypted on your own computer, never uploaded.

Install on Mac
1. Download WhaGrOU-2.3.0-arm64-mac.zip and unzip it. Drag WhaGrOU into your Applications folder.
2. Open it once. macOS will block it — “Apple could not verify…” — because WhaGrOU isn't signed with an Apple developer certificate. That's expected for a free indie tool: the app is built straight from the public release you just downloaded. Click Done (not Move to Trash).
3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security section, and click Open Anyway next to the WhaGrOU message. Confirm with Open Anyway (Touch ID or your password). You only do this once — after that it opens like any other app.
On older macOS (14 Sonoma and earlier) there's a shortcut: right‑click the app → Open → Open. On macOS 15 Sequoia and later this no longer works — use the steps above.

Install on Windows
1. Download WhaGrOU-2.3.0-setup.exe and run it. It installs just for you — no admin password needed.
2. Windows SmartScreen may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen because the installer isn't code‑signed. That's expected for a free indie tool — the file is exactly the one you downloaded from the public release. Click More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.
Prefer not to install? Grab the portable .zip from the releases page, unzip it anywhere, and run WhaGrOU.exe.
Sending safely
Nothing sends on its own — you set the pace by what you approve, so for a bigger push you approve in waves and watch how the first day lands. Two limits live in Settings: a daily cap, and a separate, much stricter cap for first‑ever contacts (people you've never messaged — the real risk). What matters most isn't the number, it's that people welcome the message: keep it to your own community, in your own voice, and watch for any blocks. More on safe sending →
What it costs
WhaGrOU is free. The only cost is the AI that writes the drafts — billed by Anthropic to your own key, and it's small. There's no subscription, and you pay only for what you use.

Your privacy
WhaGrOU runs entirely on your own computer. Your contacts, chats, and drafts live in a local file on your Mac — there is no WhaGrOU server and nothing is uploaded. Drafting uses your own AI key. You decide what gets sent, and to whom.
